Bloom School of Jazz Advanced/Professional Programs for Fall 2011 Term
You have already proven to yourself that you are good enough to play professionally. You have traveled pretty far down the road, but you want more from yourself. We will show you how to take the skills you've already developed and combine them with our unique methods to increase access to your own unique expression. We will help you to use the values and musicianship of the masters as models for your own musical authority. Jazz Breakthrough Program
This course is for serious professional musicians who want to breakthrough their musical barriers. We have helped hundreds of professional musicians learn how to develop and elevate their music by using our innovative method and concepts. Much of this improvement can occur by embracing a different point of view but using the skills and techniques previously known.

The Perfect Set
The Perfect Set course is a six-month extremely demanding professional journey taught by David Bloom. The highest standard of focused preparation, practice, rehearsal and performance is required. Composition, arranging, improvisation and group interactions are the areas of study. This course is for serious jazz musicians who want to be compared to and play with the values and spirit of the masters. The goal of the course is to perform a "perfect set" of music at the Green Mill or Jazz Showcase in Chicago.Fall Schedule
